
About the Programme
The qualifications are designed to provide career development opportunities for those who are working in Hospitality and Tourism at the middle and senior management levels. The qualification will give you a theoretical understanding of management concepts and an overview of the H&T industry. It will equip you to find employment with management prospects, particularly in the H&T sector, or to continue your professional or academic studies in a related area.

Entry Requirements
LMQ Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism qualification or have obtained one of the following:
- A recognised degree qualification or any equivalent overseas qualification or
- Level 5 qualifications from another internationally recognised awarding body or approved Overseas Institutes of Higher Education.
Delivery and Assessment
This qualification will be delivered a minimum of 12 months for full-time study. The Total Qualification Times (TQM) or Notional Learning Hours (NLH) will be covered as per the qualification requirements. This programme is flexible and can be delivered face-to-face or distance learning.
‘Notional learning hours’ are the estimated learning time taken by the ‘average’ student to achieve the specified learning outcomes of the course unit or programme. They are therefore not a precise measure but provide students with an indication of the amount of study and degree of commitment expected.
